About Our Trainings

Welcome to the 2010 JWB Training Center. We are now in our 31st year of providing educational opportunities for human service professionals. Our continuing goal is to bring you the highest quality presentations at the most affordable cost. As well, we hope that you will find the workshop listings contains sessions to compliment what you need to best provide services for the children and families in our community.

We look forward to having you at our workshops, and hope that you will leave each one that you attend with new strategies and information to help the children and families you serve.

General Registration and Payment Information
The preferred method of registration is by clicking here. You will find instructions on using the registration site. You may choose your workshops (Search) and pay online with your credit card or opt to send a check.

Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to all workshops that begin and end on time. Walk-in participants are welcome and payment (check or money order) is accepted at the door. We encourage all participants to check the website prior to attending workshops to make sure there are no cancellations or location changes. All workshops close 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.

All workshop fees are due at least one week prior to the workshop. Credit cards are only accepted online; checks and money orders may be mailed with a completed registration form to: JWB Center for Training, 14155 58th Street No., Clearwater, FL 33760.

Limited Seating
In compliance with fire and safety regulations, workshop registrations may not exceed room capacity.

Continuing Education Credits
Select JWB workshops provide Continuing Education Units (CEs). Look for these workshops throughout our catalog, identified by the Continuing Education (CE) emblem.

The following State of Florida licensed professionals have the opportunity to earn CEs:

Clinical Social Workers; Mental Health Counselors; Marriage and Family Therapists; and Certified Addiction Professionals.

In accordance with regulations of the Florida Certification Board and the Florida Department of Health, CE Certificates are provided at the end of each workshop only to those who attend the entire workshop and complete the hours specified.

Please note: Participants electing to receive clinical CEs will incur an additional service charge of $5.00 indicated in workshop description.

Certificate of Attendance
At the conclusion of all workshops, participants will receive a JWB Certificate of Attendance.

Certificates of Attendance serve as the only permanent record of your participating in a JWB workshop. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain and file the Certificate of Attendance.
