Issue Expertise analyzes and monitors the Child Welfare System as a whole. The Department initiates and coordinates the primary prevention effort that may lead to data inquiries to determine trends or issues which need to be addressed. Findings are reported to the JWB Board of Directors monthly as well as providers and Department of Children and Families officials, with a goal to improve the system for at- risk children in Pinellas County.
