Coordinated Child Care - Community Contracts

Coordinated Child Care of Pinellas (CCC) facilitates the availability of affordable, accessible, high-quality early education and care and related school-age programs by acting as a primary resource in Pinellas County for children, families and employers. In FY 03-04, CCC assumed contractual responsibilities for five small programs. These programs and their combined funding are under the fiscal and administrative auspices of CCC which receives JWB funding through a contract identified as Community Contracts. Additionally, each program targets specific sub groups of children according to the criteria noted in their subcontracts. The programs are Head Start’s Early Head Start; RClub’s Pinellas Village Child Care and Exceptional Student Scholarship programs; Community Pride’s Gateway Homeless Project, and United Methodist's Children of the World Preschool. CCC agreed to formally visit and monitor each subcontracted program at least once a year; submit one written report per subcontracted program and assure that program data is entered into SAMIS. Program services are provided countywide.
