Position Purpose:
Perform specialized contract management and program monitoring
services for JWB regarding contracts and
funding to social service agencies.
Key Responsibilities:

Reviews and
verifies agency contracts for financial, personnel and/or program compliance
-
Conducts evaluation of performance against contract
requirements and prepares written reports
-
Develops, implements and monitors new program initiatives
including participation in the competitive
procurement process; reviews, ranks, and makes funding
recommendations. Prepares and presents
recommendations regarding contracts at official meetings of JWB, as
needed
-
Directs contract negotiations; prepares and presents
recommendations to the Board regarding contracts
as needed, and is the lead point of contact between the provider
and JWB
- Develops and
reviews budgets and budget amendment requests in SAMIS
- Extracts and
analyzes financial and program information from SAMIS and develops
integrated analyses,
projections, reports, and presentations for data
integrity purposes
- Provides
SAMIS technical assistance to the agencies as necessary to ensure data
integrity

Interfaces with local government agencies, providers,
community groups and internal departments as
needed to achieve JWB goals

Actively participates in the JWB Asset Comprehensive Review
process as a team leader
- Works
cooperatively on inter and intra departmental teams and interact to
provide fiscal support to the
other departments

Hiring Range:
$20.42 - $25.52/Hr.
$42,473.60 – 53,081.60 Annually |
Specifications:
Master’s degree or comparable
amount of training, education, and work experience in social services
program management. Masters in Social Work and experience in managing
mental health operations preferred.
4–7 years experience in
not-for-profit program management
Knowledge of and
experience in administrative and programmatic systems in human services
organizations.
Knowledge of generally
accepted accounting principles (GAAP), particularly as applied to
not-for-profit accounting and financial reporting
Knowledge of federal and state
regulations related to human service organizations
Ability to provide
technical guidance and leadership in one or more of the following areas:
financial/program management, organizational development, database analysis,
mental health/substance abuse/family counseling, family support,
residential/shelter, child care, youth development
Advanced knowledge and
skills in one or more of the following: accounting, database, report writer,
spreadsheet, and word processing applications
Ability to compile,
analyze, interpret, and present complex reports, statements and/or
projections
Strong interpersonal and
communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range
of constituencies in a diverse community
Ability to communicate
verbally and in writing
Possess a valid Florida
driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
