The Juvenile Welfare Board produces a monthly, half hour television show about
children
and families.
NOW PLAYING....
In
July, JWB-TV features an interview with Executive Director, Gay Lancaster,
about JWB's process for setting millage rates and budgeting. Pinewoods
Cultural Park, a place where families could easily spend an entire day
full of free fun, is featured as well. We visit GRAYDI (Greater
Ridgecrest Area Youth Development Initiative) and highlight some of the
programs and services offered. We also profile the Youth Wellness &
Diversity curriculum, an important part of JWB supported summer camps.
Plus, the debut of two 30-second public service announcements; one is for
the HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Pre-school Youngsters) program
and the other is for the LIFE (Literacy is for Everyone) program.
