Suncoast - Intensive Family Services

The mission of the Intensive Family Services program is to provide intensive in-home therapeutic services to Pinellas County families that are in distress due to the severe mental health issues of a family member. The program targets families with mental health issues who also have children ages 0-17. The goals of the program are to improve the overall functioning of the primary participant adult and/or youth to achieve the goals stated in the treatment plan, and to assure that all the children in the family demonstrate age-appropriate developmental functioning. Program activities include in-depth screening and assessment; solution-focused individual, family and couples therapy; family support and case management ;and the development of a family or individual treatment plan. The program is available countywide.
