JWB TV

JWB TVNow Playing...

The July edition of JWB-TV begins with a package about a free Pinellas County Sheriff's Office program called Teen Driver Challenge.  This program gives teens hands-on experience that will help them avoid traffic accidents in the future.  Then, we have a studio interivew with Laurie Deer of Family Resources about their Safe Place 2B runaway shelters.  There is a 30-second promo about the Hispanic Leadership Council's annual Diversity Conference.  Then, we round things out with a feature about the robotics enrichment overlay called Imagineers, that has children at Life Force Cultural Arts Academy's after-school program excited about science and technology.  Next, you'll meet a "big sis" and a "little sis" in a feature that shows how Big Brothers Big Sisters is partnering with the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy.  Then, hear from a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site client about how VITA and the Earned Income Tax Credit helped her and her children.
