The mission of Kinship Services Network of Pinellas is to provide an extensive network of local service providers to coordinate a larger system of care for relative care givers in Pinellas County. This is accomplished through Children’s Home, Inc. as the lead agency in collaboration with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Pinellas and Catholic Charities Diocese of St. Petersburg, as well as many local providers as partners. The services provided are network navigation, case management, support groups, family activities and referrals to needed community resources for relative caregivers to achieve self-sufficiency and stability. The emphasis of this program is on informal kin placements. Services are open to all county relative caregivers and are provided county-wide.
