North County

The JWB North County Community Council (NCCC) is a diverse citizen advisory group maximizing consumer participation by identifying community strengths and needs, developing potential solutions, and advocating on behalf of children and families in North Pinellas County. The NCCC members keep in touch with the needs, strengths and trends in their communities, and provide this information to JWB. The current advocacy focus areas for the NCCC are child welfare/youth aging out of foster care, youth crime/gang awareness and prevention, Hispanic family issues, and neighborhood based services for children/families most in need.

The North County Community Council meeting will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the MLK Recreation Center, 550 Laura Lane, Dunedin.
