The Training Center offers a variety of training opportunities for professionals working in the field of human services, childcare, mental health, and the general public.

The Training Post is produced in August, and January each year. Each edition offers a variety of diverse conferences and workshops in the areas of clinical, early childhood, youth development, organizational capacity building, and professional skills enhancements.

The Training Center also offers community workshops at no charge to Pinellas County agencies, schools, civic, and faith-based organizations, businesses, and the general public.  You can call the Training Center at

B.E.S.T. Initiative - Building Exemplary Systems for Training Youth Workers
The BEST Initiative Youth Worker Certification Program is funded by the Juvenile Welfare Board.  The program includes foundations, intermediate, and advanced level training totaling ninety hours.  The goals of this program are to increase the level of professionalism among youth workers and to help make youth development principles an integral part of program design.
