SUMMARY:Teen Food Insecurity - Photovoice Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a beautiful photovoice exhibit showcasing photos of food insecurity in Pinellas County through the eyes of local teens\, and highlighting the factors that keep teens from being food secure. While at the exhibit\, listen to youth recommendations for addressing this issue plaguing the teens in our community. Forty local youth (11-17) from The Sanderlin Center\, InterCultural Advocacy Institute Hispanic Outreach Center\, Pinellas Sheriff’s Police Athletic League\, and Pinellas Park Youth Park Recreation Center have participated in focus groups facilitated by University of South Florida to discuss the issues of teen insecurity in our community\, so they are ready to share what they have learned. \nRefreshments will be served! \nPlease email ptucker@jwbpinellas.org with any questions or concerns.
