SUMMARY:10th Anniversary Listening to Babies Professional Training
DESCRIPTION:Open to all professionals who serve children and families prenatally through age 5\, this annual training has advocated for culturally sensitive practice in supporting the social-emotional development of young African American children. Marking its 10th anniversary year\, Listening to Babies 2022 takes a considered look both at gains and at areas where promise remains to be met. The event also launches coordinated discussions to begin considering the coming 10 years\, highlighting birth-to-three\, 3- 4\, and kindergarten year experiences and supports for Black children and their families. \n*The conference will be held live at Pinellas Technical College this year; participation for those immunocompromised or requesting virtual accommodations for other reasons is available and can be arranged by contacting Serina Lewis\, serinalewis@usf.edu \nCEUs donated in-kind by the Early Learning Coalition!
