Michael Mikurak has over 30 years of experience in the areas of business strategy and supply chain management, and was a recent candidate for the Pinellas County Commission – District 3. As an international consulting partner at Accenture PLC, Mr. Mikurak focused on global consulting with Fortune 100 companies. He retired from Accenture PLC in 2003 with Founder Partner status due to his participation as an original company partner in taking the company into the public markets.
Mr. Mikurak continues to utilize his knowledge and experience, including intellectual property from his nine global patents in business collaboration, one patent in e-learning, and one pending patent in e-learning with Raytheon Corp. He is currently the CEO of MGM Strategic Consulting, LLC.
In 2013, Mr. Mikurak was appointed to the Juvenile Welfare Board by Governor Rick Scott and currently serves as Board Vice Chair. He recently joined the Board of Directors of VIP Software Corporation and is currently the Chairman of the Managing Directors of HEPCO Holding, LLC., a Delaware limited liability company. He serves on the Board of Directors of a $4 billion nonprofit health system, and is chair of its Audit Committee and a member of its Finance Committee. In addition, Mr. Mikurak continues his service on the Board of Directors of CareerSource Pinellas, The Science Center of Pinellas County (a STEM Education Center), and Pinellas County License Board.
