Building Stronger Families Workshop
Research studies support the common-sense notion that when certain Protective Factors are well established in a family, they build family strengths and a family environment that promotes optimal child and youth development. Parents, providers, grandparents, and community members will have an opportunity to share their experiences and ideas on the many ways that can help children grow up safe, strong, and happy.
Discovering Your True Personality
We all have special traits in our personality that make us unique. True Colors workshop will help you understand why you think, act, and feel the way you do. It will also help you understand and communicate better with your spouse, significant other, child/ren, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. It is insightful and you will have fun getting to know other people in the group.
Reaching Across Generations to Strengthen our Communities
In this strength-based and interactive workshop, participants will gain knowledge and understanding of the differences across generations. Through hands-on activities, participants will identify defining characteristics of the five generations and apply practical tips for working and communicating effectively in a multigenerational community.
