Community Councils

JWB’s three Community Councils in North, Mid-, and South Pinellas County were established in 1994 to maximize citizen participation by identifying relevant strengths and needs at the neighborhood level. Its members represent our county’s diverse population and play a vital role in fostering broad awareness and engagement.

Bridging JWB To The Community

Each Council has developed a unique work plan and serves as a bridge between JWB and the children and families we serve. It is their voices that help shape and influence our work, so that our community is stronger. Council meetings typically take place on the first Thursday of the month and are open to the public. Visit individual Council pages for specific meeting notices, agendas, and materials.
