Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

JWB acknowledges there are opportunities to enhance practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and as such, adopted a strategy within the JWB Five-Year Strategic Plan to understand and apply cultural intelligence tenets within the organization and with JWB’s funded agency partners.

As an important first step, the JWB Equity Leadership Council was formed, composed of staff for staff, to intimately understand and advance JWB’s organizational culture to develop the diverse workforce of today and tomorrow. The JWB Equity Leadership Council collaborates with all departments to implement various diverse, equitable, and inclusive tactics that support workforce recruitment, retention, and development strategies, and is open to all employees.
