The Juvenile Welfare Board conducts business, holds meetings, and publishes meeting notices in accordance with:

Public notice of upcoming meetings or events in which members of the JWB Board will be in attendance is posted below, as well as public notice of meetings, events, or announcements concerning other JWB business. Unless otherwise noted, meetings will be held at the JWB offices located at 14155 58th Street North, Clearwater, FL 33760.

COVID-19 NOTICE: The State of Florida Governor’s Executive Order 20-69, extended by Executive Order 20-150, suspends the requirement for in-person quorums and allows public bodies to utilize Communications Media Technology to conduct business. Details on how to access JWB Board virtual meetings are posted on our Public Notices and Board Meetings webpages. Members of the public may click on the virtual meeting they would like to attend to view meeting attendance options, including Zoom online links, phone numbers, and other meeting details.

Public Meeting Notice: Virtual JWB Finance Committee Meeting | June 25, 20202 at 1:30 PM

In accordance with the Office of the Governor Executive Orders 20-69 and 20-150, the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas will hold a virtual Finance Committee Meeting on June 25, 2020 at 1:30 PM using Communications Media Technology via Zoom Webinar online.

The public can attend the virtual meeting and provide public comment as follows:

You will be asked to download Zoom, and to provide your name and email address to connect.

To make a public comment via Zoom online, attendees should click the “Raise Your Hand” button located in the Zoom webinar controls. The Moderator will ask for public comment prior to a vote on action items and during the open agenda portion of the meeting. The Moderator will call upon each attendee and give them up to three (3) minutes to speak.

Callers will be recognized by the last four digits of their phone number.

Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decisions made at these meetings/hearings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
